Yes, folks, this includes Republicans and Conservatives going without dental insurance.
It means that 100 million out of 300 million Americans have no dental insurance, according to the American Dental Association.
None of the first four answers have addressed the problem that one out of three Americans can’t AFFORD dental insurance of any kind. This is the problem; Americans are unconscious when it comes to questions like this. They don’t get it: we’re in big, big trouble here, folks.
Dental Plans

I have to agree with SusieQCleaner. Why would anyone WANT to pay for dental insurance, when they could save money by paying cash?! It just doesn’t make sense why we have become so dependent on third party payers. I think it is important for all of us to get insurance for large things like major surgeries, car accidents, etc. but to pay for our every day visits is a real waste of money. Use our brains people! Or are we going to pay insurance companies to do that too?
Get a dental plan. A lot of times they are better than insurance. Cheaper premiums and you get more for your money…. I had dental insurance through my work for the longest time and when I lost it, I found Savon Dental Plan. I have found that they have WAY more to offer than any insurance company.. First of all, my coverage started immediately.. I didn’t have to wait 3-12 months for anything… My cleaning all the way to my root canal was covered instantly.. It was half off the state wide average and my dentist put me on a payment plan. Had I kept my insurance, I’d still be paying $120 a month, and I had to wait a year just to get a tooth pulled… Plus, they cap you at like $1500 max for the year… With my dental plan, there is no limit.. I can get whatever I want done, whenever I want, at 50% off across the board… WAY worth it… And now that I’m married, I am on my hubby’s dental insurance, so we use my dental plan as a supp. now, and I’ve been able to cover damn near 100% of my dental bills…
